yeah, I went through that also. I had two students who chose to do that to
satisfy part of their syllabus in my advanced painting class. needless to say
the paintings were stunning. they went so far beyond the limited concept that
we are painting like impressionists if we dab the paint onto the canvas.
their work fairly glowed with that awesome light. then we read the small
print. that was the end of that. s'ok we got some great work out of it.
