Those of you who have done units on Japanese kites and Japanese art will
want to check out this site --Japanese Kite Collection:
http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~et3m-tkkw/

This is just one of the pages -- beautiful wood cut prints of the Ukeyo-e
period:
http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~et3m-tkkw/scrap-02.html

It seems that the artist of the print Pam asked about is unknown. So many
artists worked as apprentices under master printers --it could even be done
by an apprentice....Some prints that are attributed to the master printers
were actually done by apprentices, too.

I wonder if a specialist in Japanese art at an area museum (or university)
may be able to help?

Thank you Pam for finding this great site!
