My survey answers:

-How many years have you been teaching?
    4. I taught museum outreach only for 3 years; this is my first year in
my own classroom (part-time. & I still teach outreach). I LOVE having a
classroom!

-What art classes do you teach?
Last semester, sculpture and drawing/composition; this semester,
printmaking (including papermaking and bookmaking) and design.

-What are your high school's catalog descriptions of the classes you teach?
Could scan descriptions on request. We currently offer Drawing & Comp,
Age of Discovery (sophomore-only art based on Renaissance), Design & Color,
Sculpture, Printmaking, Painting, and AP Art. Hopefully will be adding
Ceramics & Illustration.

-Do you teach 4-block; 8-block; or ????
    I actually don't know what that means - 4-block? Well, I teach 2
periods a day out of a 7-period day (I'm part-time, remember). Our classes
are only 40 minutes long, 4 minutes in between - we're trying hard to get
double periods for art but it seems unlikely. Frustrating for us and our
students! They're in, they're out. I'm quite envious of those of you
who've been writing about 80- or 95-minute long classes.

-What are the pros/cons of the schedule you teach?
Classes are WAY TOO SHORT! If I were full-time, though, I'd have a
decent amount of prep time. At least 2 preps a day I think.

-Do you have time to create art beyond the classroom?
Trying to make more time! I have a studio.

-If so, what is your area of expertise?
    Illustration & book arts.
