Please send info as to how I can get an application form. I'm thinking that
I might be able to use this approach: When I ask a child for a painting for
our permanent gallery in the school, I give that child special time to make
a similar painting for him/herself. This seems to work. I know it's
impossible to replicate and sometimes the child relinquishes the second
painting and keeps the first one.

I totally agree, of course, that these contest organizers don't get it! This
is not a written piece that can be photocopied, or a piece of music that can
be recorded. Although, maybe they would accept a photo of the work? Did you
ask?
