Markers that last and last and last

A while back there was a discussion on markers...I have been using Mr.
Sketch markers for years (made by Sanford). I still have some from 1993 that
work (just bought 12 sets then). I bought some new last year for the first
time since 1993 (I only bought 6 more packages --one per table). I would not
advise ordering the scented ones (I was stuck with those at the Catholic
school I taught for one year---too many noses to wipe--too little class
time) -- go for non-scented (Sax p. 264 - #326-5261 $9.10 for twelve color
set). Yes, they cost a little more --but are worth it. I did try the
Washable set --and we did not like the colors as well (washable has a bullet
tip --regular have chisel tip).

I know a lot of you may not like this suggestion...but I often order
supplies with my own money to try out before I place an order for my school
(less waste that way). If I find the supply unsatisfactory in any way-- I
have always been able to get a credit on my account. Hmmm....Now I guess I
am using the opinions of all of you the same way....and it is free (LOL at
me).

P.S. Judy Nagel has helped me out in the past...so I am just giving Sax a
plug or two as I write my orders (she is retired from Sax --but still works
as a consultant).
