Hi Everyone!
I am putting together a trip for 2002 and invite any of you to join me on this fabulous adventure! Since 99.9% of us that correspond with each other are art teachers, and art history is an important part of all of our curriculums, I felt inclined to share this information with you all!
This is a 10-day trip to Switzerland/Italy from July 15-24, 2002. The itinerary looks like this:
Lucern, Switzerland (2 nights)
Lake Garda, Italy (2 nights)
Florence (2 nights)
Rome (2 nights)
Some of the cities/sights we'll be visiting are: Mt. Pilatus and the Lion Monument- (Switzerland), Verona, Lake Garda, Venice, St. Mark's Square, Florence (Santa Croce, Piazza della Signoria, Michelangelo's David @ Academia), Pisa (Leaning Tower and Bapistry), Assisi (St.Francis Church); Rome (St. Peter's, Colosseum, Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel).
Included is airfare, all breakfasts and dinners (this tour company spends a minimum of $10 more a day-per person on food budgets which means better quality food and more of it); hotel accomodations (all hotels are either a 3-star or 4-star rating and all rooms with adjoining bath), all excursions with transportation by coach and professional guide in major cities (itineraries are a combination of walking/visiting tours and NOT just "drive-bys"); and NO ADDITIONAL HIDDEN FEES!
I traveled and was a group leader with this company last summer (a fifteen-day trip to Italy, Switzerland, France, and England) and am group leader again THIS summer for a trip to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, and England. Last year's trip was WONDERFUL! We were really given the red carpet treatment! Basically, it's like anything else in life...you get what you pay for! If you travel with a budget company and are happy...then you should continue to travel with one. BUT, if you are unhappy about any of the things listed above, there is always another, better way to travel. That's with me!!
So if you're interested and would like to experience the thrill of a lifetime and return with a thousand memories....let me know!
Cost of the trip: If enrolling by June 30, 2001= $2667.
