Kindergarten through 6th grade come to the art room for art twice a week for
45 minutes. 7th and 8th come to art twice a week for a double period (90
minutes) one semester. I also offer 6, 7 and 8th grade students "art studio
elective" which they may sign up for as a double period once a week. There
are two art teachers at our school.
I requested the double period for my older students several years ago and the
school complied. It is a private school and parents and administration are
extremely supportive of the arts!
