I did three tile murals at my last school and they were all installed on cinder
block. I had a wonderful father of one of the students install it, it helps to
have someone who really knows what they are doing! The only problem I saw him
have was to even off, by chipping, some of the blocks to make sure the surface
was flat. I also had forgotten about an electrical outlet in the wall, but he
brought a tile cutter and cut the tile to fit around the outlet. Good luck.
