tell me the name of a ceramic artist

I'm trying to find out the name of a ceramic artist who has done a lot of
extremely detailed, usually small scale work. One of his series is a human
skull projected onto a square form- then made into a teapot or other vessel--
also pieces shaped like a human heart, and there were also atomic bomb mushroom
clouds. . . is this ringing a bell with anyone?
