I didn't think of it as silkscreening, but for simple tee shirts, for a 6th
grade Greek Olympics, we used freezer paper. The kids drew their stencils
on the paper, cut them out, and we ironed them on to the shirts. We used
stencil paint, I don't remember what kind, and the big fat brush that comes
with stencil kits, and really soak the printable sections. If they were
ironed properly, the paint stayed right where you wanted. They were
washable too, I still have a couple of sample in my room.
Hadn't thought about this in years, it was simple and really worked well.
