You can do a leaf print. Use a fresh green leaf. Lay on a board and piece of
bleached muslim on top. Pin the muslim to the board with thumbtacks. Use a
small mallet and hot the material. The cholorphyl makes a great print. I've
done this with pre-schoolers.
Color mixing.
Need six clear cups, food coloring, eye droppers, water.
Fill three cups half-way with red, yellow, blue food coloring mixed with
water.
Fill the other three cups half-way with clear water.
Put two dots on each cup. 1. red-blue 2 red-yellow 3 blue-yellow
Let the kids drop the food coloring into the clear cups and watch the
reaction.

Make your own dyes from food stuffs.

Nature collages (leaves, acorns, sticks, feathers etc)

Drawing feathers

Drawing insects using magnifying glasses.

Cast seashells with plaster. Press a seashell into damp sand. Pour plaster
into the depression. Allow to set and remove from sand.
