Hi Anna,
The kids can go on a leaf and flower petal scavenger hunt and do a
collection of different kinds of specimens (the "juicier" the better.) Then
rub the specimens on white paper to see the natural pigments. Also try
samples of soil. Cut out swatches of rubbed pigments and make a collage. A
good lesson for teaching about chlorophyl.
