Paul du Toit--of South Africa was surfing around and found my site--He
e-mailed me his site:
http://www.pauldutoit.com/

Fun- original work--that is reminiscent of Paul Klee, Jean Dubuffet and
Pablo Picasso all rolled into one. I especially like the sculptures and can
see a use now for all of those odd shaped Styrofoam pieces I JUST threw
out...Moral? Never throw anything away...(ha-ha).

From his site:

"Paul's work exudes a positive energy that has captured the imagination of
the media and public alike and attracted the attention of collectors from
around the world."

Enjoy! I am showing my 7th graders his stuff Friday....They are doing relief
sculpture now....I want to hear all of the "How come we couldn't do
something like that?" questions. I am interested in their reactions as I
will plan a unit next year based on Paul du Toit work (Picasso connection).

I will eventually have Paul's pages linked from my sculpture and Picasso
pages....(at least before Friday).
