There are several options
1. Continue to receive individual e-mails but sort them into a file using
filters - makes it much easier to follow a conversation
2. Switch to digest form and receive one e-mail every 24 hours with the
posts from that time. Go to
http://lists.getty.edu/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=artsednet&text_mode=0 and log
in to switch
3. Switch to no mail or index (a list of topics every 24 hours) and use the
web based interface to access Go to
http://lists.getty.edu/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=artsednet&text_mode=0 to log
in to switch and use the web based interface. The web-based interface is not
a bulletin board type like with Yahoo! Groups or Yahoo! Clubs. It does sort
them by threads, but differences in e-mail readers and ways people respond
can cause Lyris (the master e-mail list program) to miss-sort them. It is
searchable for keywords

I am new at this. Does all the messages have to come to my e-mail directly
or is there a way I can just go into ArtsEdNEt talk and check the updated
threads and responses. I was a little overwhelmed when I checked my school
e-mail and found all the messages I received. I would rather go into a
discussion board and respond and read from there instead of the response I
got today. Should I have set it up different or is this how this works?
Thanks,
Sarah
