kidpix is great for teaching landscape: foreground middle and background.
Begin with drawing a horizon line and a 1 pt perspective road or river
widening at the bottom of the page.
Have them draw a large object, tree, rocks, etc at the bottom. Then use
the "stamp" trees to fill in middle ground, all clumped together. Add
stars in the sky or whatever their imagination combusts into
spontaneously. Have fun.
ann in Michigan where the snow has FINALLY melted. Oooops, they're
predicting snow for this evening. Can't wait to go to Florida in June and
soak up that warm, warm sunshine.
