RE:"Does anyone have any easy and fun one day art activities"

I love this list! I unsubscribed for four months while slogging through
National Board Certification (which I really got interested in because of
this list). Today, as I watched 120 messages come up after the weekend, I
wondered if I had time for them all.

While I did not think I needed to know the answer to the question, "Does
anyone have any easy and fun one day art activities," I am tickled by the
answer. What good ideas.

Last week, Bunki's webpage inspired me as well (I have one section of 7th
graders - never my favorite, prefer HS - but Bunki made me feel I was not
trying hard enough!). I stared a new project with them on Friday based on
Bunki's cubism unit, and one of the girls said, "Finally, I project I
really like." I am humbled. I have been at this for 18 years, and I think
I am pretty good, but I still have lots to learn.

I have a suggestion. I copy good ideas for specific classes, web addresses,
video recommendations, books suggestions, and quotes into separate files in
Word. When I need inspiration, I review the suggestions. The files are
getting huge.

Bottom line, thanks to all you good souls for sharing. I missed you and am
glad to be back!
Christa
