My true passion is painting. Plein air on location when I can. I painted
larger oil paintings in college and have turned to acrylic and watercolors
and Japanese sumi-e (very relaxing repetitive ink painting technique) since
I live in a small apartment. By the way, only 2 more weeks until I move
into my house where I will have a studio! Whopee!
If you know me, you also know that I'm nuts about technology. Both as a tool
for creating art and a tool for learning about art through interactive
technology. I like trying to learn a little of everything with technology
just so I don't feel "left out." I've done a few web-sites, played around
with animation, taught computer graphics, blah, blah.
I'm also in love with nature. My husband and I go hiking (where I get to
sketch a little here and there, sometimes even a quick painting). I love
being outdoors and I'm really looking forward to having a garden to work in
at my new house!
Judy, this has been a great thread- it's incredible to see what an
interesting group of people we have on the list.
