"I Can't " - no comprende!- I say . I tell them those words are like a foreign
language to me. But I do give them some alternatives to say to ease their
frustration like- "I'm having some trouble with this" or "this is a bit
difficult, but I will try harder". I try to keep some humor in this matter,
because once they relax instead of get angrier, they can go back and face the task
at hand.
Of course like others have mentioned I do bring up famous people like Michael
Jordan and mention how much they had to practice to get where they are. Many of
the people they idolize needed to practice to achieve greatness. It gives them a
real life example.
