Howdy everyone!!
I need some info - I saw some scratchboard drawings done at a student Visual
Art Scholastic Event in Odessa TX (our first!!) I don't know where the
students are from and didn't fingd out at the time - but it's on my mind!
They were beautiful!! Huge!! 18X24 at least, so I'm assuming they made their
own. BUT!! There was color! Like a brightly painted picture had been painted
underneath! I've admired Brian Pinkney's illustrations, but never really
thought about them in COLOR until I found one in a magazine...colored inks?
This student work was gorgeous! Anybody out there with some directions for
making your own large scratchboards and for using color??? Thanks in advance!
