Kevan N. reminded me of ArtsConnect Ed - Minneapolis Institute of
Arts --Great site! I have it on my Museums page --but should also list in on
Art Ed--It has some very interesting Lesson Plans.

Here is one I ran across while searching the Web for NW Coast Native
American art:

This just goes to show that folks will come up with similar ideas when given
similar materials. I made transformation masks with second graders several
years ago using tag board --much the same way as these were made
(pre-Internet days for me). This lesson plan is much more thorough that the
one I wrote, though.
