Just wanted to take a minute to say thanks to everyone -
So many of my lessons this year have been impacted by posts made to this
list. In the beginning of the year I was doing a circle investigation with
the 5th grade - two classes continued with mandalas - and one did a mosaic
table top for our school auction.
I needed some simple projects for part of the class to do while working on
auction items and looked up the 'chair' website from 'artzyal' -
www.wackykids.org/design_activities.htm.... it led to a great cardboard
construction/design lesson - and the kids loved it....
I am doing the Monet paper collage - very timely.... I did it with a 2/3 and
a 5th grade... we used a roll of 'exam table' paper... one class did
watercolors - one used thinned acrylics -

I am not mentioning enough - but I did want to say thanks to everyone -
