Bunki,
You should be able to scan with photo Deluxe by accessing the program
first. You may have to help it find the scanner. I can't walk through the
steps here, because we use it at work. I don't have a scanner at home yet,
not sure I need one. I think you have to find the scanner's Twain program. I
might have that wrong. Another option is to use your scanner normally, just
make sure it saves in a format accessible to other programs (Tiff, giff, or
JPEG are good choices TIFF being best). Then open the picture with Photo
Deluxe.

This sounds more like what I need...simple and cheap. This might be a stupid
question to you (or anyone else listening in) although it doesn't sound like
it to me. Can you use any scanner to work with Photo Deluxe or does it have
to come with that program? My Agfa scanner comes with it's own image editing
software called MicroFrontier Color It! to be used with a Mac and it has
something diff. when used with a PC. How could I use the Photo Deluxe
program if the scanner is hooked up with another program? It's all so
confusing to me. Toodles.......
