Tempera Resist

    I am trying tempera resist for the first time.
    1. Paint heavy.
    2. Cover with black tempera.
    3. Wash off to expose tempera below.

    With my sample, the black was somewhat resistant. I scrubbed it lightly
    with a Scothchbrite pad which might have taken off too much pigment.
    Any suggestions?
