Using a commercial overglaze or china paint may be the solution to keeping
your design permanent.
>Make sure that your design done in a china paint does not come in contact
with food or near your lip line (on a cup). China paints and overglazes
contain materials and chemicals that must melt at a low temperature. The
best flux for melting at a low temperature is lead.
Lead is not a food safe material.
