The International Committee for the Conservation of Mosaics (ICCM) will hold its ninth triennial conference November 29December 3, 2005, in Hammamet, Tunisia. The conference—entitled "Lessons Learned: Reflecting on the Theory and Practice of Mosaic Conservation"—is coorganized by the Getty Conservation Institute and Tunisia's Institut National du Patrimoine, with the support of ICCROM and the University of Cyprus.
Participants will include professionals in the conservation of ancient mosaics, art historians, and archaeologists of the Roman world, from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the United States.
