Climate Controls for Historic Buildings: A New Strategy

One of the ventilation system supply fans installed in the basement of Hollybourne Cottage. Since its installation in 2000, the site's climate control system has undergone several programming and equipment modifications. The current configuration consists of humidistat-controlled heaters, supply and exhaust fans, and dehumidifiers in two zones—the basement and the upper floors—each working independently of the other.
