Remembering and Imagining the Nuclear Annihilation in Hiroshima
The Atom Bomb Dome and the central cenotaph in Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park during the annual memorial ceremony on August 6, 2001. The park serves as both a monument to peace and as a place for mourning the dead. A list of names of all those who are known to have lost their lives to the bomb is enshrined within the cenotaph.
