Conservation and Management of Earthen Architectural and Archaeological Heritage

PAT99-Project Terra

Chan Chan, Trujillo, Peru

This is an intensive, specialized training course organized by the Getty Conservation Institute, the Instituto Nacional de Cultura del Perú—La Libertad (INC-LL), the International Centre for Earth Construction—School of Architecture of Grenoble (CRATerre-EAG), the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and the Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM), and the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC). The course is geared toward professionals in archaeology, architecture, and other disciplines involved with the conservation and management of cultural heritage. Twenty-five to thirty participants will be accepted to the course, which will be conducted in Spanish.
