Implementation of the Conservation Plan
 

The research and investigation undertaken during the project's first phase will lead to the development of a conservation program for the tomb and its wall paintings, to be jointly agreed upon by the SCA and GCI. The objective is to implement a conservation program according to international and institutional standards that is consistent with future uses of the tomb.

The conservation treatment will be fully documented to capture all aspects of each type of intervention. Documentation will include a description of the intervention—including materials used and application techniques—and will identify the location and extent of treated areas, with a photographic record capturing all stages of the treatment process.
