Training and capacity building to help develop long-term professional capabilities that will enable the Iraq State Board of Antiquities and Heritage (SBAH) to regain stewardship of Iraq's cultural sites.

Development and implementation of a Web-based national geographic information system (GIS) for the SBAH: the Middle Eastern Geodatabase for Antiquities (MEGA)-Iraq.
Component Three
Raising and deploying funding resources and expertise for the emergency repair and protection of archaeological and architectural sites in Iraq.
