Habitat ’67, designed by Moshe Safdie, 1967, Montreal. Designed as an experimental, multifamily housing community, Habit ’67 was constructed as an exhibition pavilion for Montreal's Expo '67. The complex is comprised of 350 standardized, precast concrete modular boxes that were fabricated on site and assembled into a variety of layout plans and unit sizes.
