Rectory, National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Central University City Campus, 1952, designed by Mario Pani, Enrique de Moral, and Salvador Ortega Flores, with mural by David Alfaro Siqueiros, Mexico City. The Central University City Campus was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2007 as an exceptional ensemble of twentieth-century modernism, which incorporates architecture, fine arts, urban planning, and landscape design. Built between 1949 and 1952, more than 60 architects, engineers and artists were involved in the campus' design and construction. The Rectory exemplifies this collaborative spirit.
