The management plan would not be sustainable if it did not take into account the important need for local development. One of the purposes of the plan is to bring awareness to the local communitys land use practice—a time-honored tradition whose roots can be seen in the agricultural remains surrounding the buried structures. Awareness of this continuity could bring support for maintaining traditional practices, which benefit both the sites conservation and provide a complementary experience to the visitors.
