Los Angeles Historic Resource Survey Project

As part of the collaboration with the City of Los Angeles, the GCI researched and synthesized information on historic resource survey methods appropriate to a city the size and diversity of Los Angeles and compiled information on preservation incentives available to owners of historic properties. The GCI continues to provide the city with technical assistance and advisory support as it conducts pilot surveys, and tests and refines survey tools and methods.
