Book of Revelation (Bible, sacred text)

Note: Biblical book describes a series of prophetic visions while the author is on the island of Patmos. The author calls himself John, traditionally identified as St. John the Apostle. Scholars believe he he was a Christian prophet, whose identity is not agreed upon.
