Note: Sarcophagus in the shape of a lenos (tub) intended for a child. Front: Dionysos standing supported by a satyr. To his left, six thiasos figures; maenad with tympanum, satyr with child, panther beneath; old satyr with thyrsos, satyr with double flute, maenad with kithara, satyr with lagobolon and sphinx. Ariadne lays on a rock while a satyr lifts her mantle. Behind her, a maenad with cymbal. To her left, a satyr, a tree and a Pan; at right, a statue of Priapus atop a herm; a satyr with lagobolon in right hand, pulling a goat with left. In front, a rock with basket of fruit. To the right, a maenad playing a double flute; a satyr holding a torch with right hand and plate with fruit with left. Back center: depicts large wine vat with spout in the form of a lion's head; three satyrs are crushing grapes. A satyr at left holds a cluster of grapes with right hand while supporting a basket on his shoulder with the right. To the left, a large basket with grapes. A satyr pours grapes into a vat from a basket. To the right, a dancing maenad holding a tympanum with left hand, a thyrsos with right. Lid: Central tabula with inscription and six bilateral fields each with small figures of satyrs, maenads, small Pan, and panther. Two lions were added to the ensemble in the 19th century to support the sarcophagus.
