| Note: Pietro Aquila and Cesare Fantetti etched a suite of 55 prints after the frescoes painted by Raphael's workshop in the Vatican Logge. The suite was dedicated to Queen Christina of Sweden and published in 1675 by Giangiacomo de Rossi under the title: Imagines Veteris ac Novi Testamenti a Raphaele Sanctio Vrbinate in Vaticani Palatii Xystis ..; Four prints from the suite Imagines Veteris ac Novi Testamenti comprising two etchings signed by Cesare Fantetti and two that are signed by Piero Aquila; Each print is inscribed in the lower margin with the initials of Raphael, a title in capital letters, the etcher's signature, the imprint and a number; Contents: God appears to Isaac and warns him not to journey into Egypt; Jacob sees Rachel coming to the well to water Laban's sheep; Solomon anointed king of Israel by Zadok; Pillar of clouds; Forms part of the Leo Steinberg collection of prints (Special Collections accn. no. 2000.PR.16); "Colnaghi"--in black ink on verso of prints.
