Inscriptions identify the participants in the procession and the monuments along the path of the processioners: "S. Pietro in Vaticano", "Il Castel S.to Angelo", "Il Campidoglio", "Il Coliseo" and "S. Gio: Laterano". A portrait medallion of Pope Alexander VII is depicted in the upper center.
