In 1560, he moved to Strasbourg and in 1588, he settled in Frankfurt-am-Main where he founded a printing shop; The circular engravings show each three portrait medallions of Roman emperors, set against a dark background with grotesques; Contents: Præclarissima virtutum est iustitia /; Maxima egestas est avaritia /; Clementiæ sis cultor, sævitiæ vero detestator /; Immodica ira gignit insaniam /; Pl. [2-3] on square sheets; Pl. [1] on square sheet with corners clipped.
