Note: Also titled: Angles de la chapelle Sixtine au Vatican (Le Blanc); Painter and printmaker born in Verona, who moved to Rome in 1761; The print reproduces the Sistine Chapel ceiling frescoes by Michelangelo, rendering the nine narratives from the book of Genesis, as well as the ignudi, prophets and sibyls within the fictive stone framework; Two sheets with horizontal join, the whole folded in half, with two edges of the lower sheet adhered to paper mount; "94"--in pencil, upper center of mount; "23", in pencil, lower center of mount; "32"--stamped in blue, lower right corner.
