Popper directions from Jimmy 8th grade
1. Fold a 81/2 X11 piece of paper hot dog style
2. While it is still folded hot dog style, fold it hamburger style
3. Hold the corner that has no folds
4. Pull the inner flaps out about an inch
5. then "chuck it down" (still holding the non folded corner, move your hand quickly towards the ground.)
I am typing this to the chorus of 20 kids demonstrating to me and each other just how loud they can get.
-Jimmy just informed me that slippery paper works the best- translate is the loudest.
Sarai in 14 days I will miss these kids :(

Hi,
I mostly lurk and expand my files with ideas from this list but I'm looking
for a last day of school activity that is loads of fun.
I want to make the "poppers" that we made when I was a kid. I just don't
remember how to fold them. Not even sure of the correct name to look them
up on the internet. It is a sheet of paper folded in a certain way that
unfolds and makes a large "pop" when it unfolds.
Any ideas?
I am pretty good at directions if you can give me a quick reminder.
