Making Gilt-Bronze Mounts

Gilt-bronze mounts were often the finishing touch on furniture made in France during the 1700s. Though the process for making these impressive decorations was complicated and costly, the results were worth the effort and expense. This video shows the process of making gilt-bronze mounts.
