This panel discussion addresses the history of Close Radio, a weekly series of experimental radio for artists, listeners, and political groups that was produced by artist and experimental musician John Duncan and artist Paul McCarthy and broadcast on KPFK from 1976 to 1979. Duncan and McCarthy are joined on the panel by video artist Nancy Buchanan and Paul Vangelisti, founding chair of the graduate writing program at Otis College of Art and Design.
