Papers on China
This two-day symposium brings together an international roster of distinguished scholars who use the themes of the exhibition as inspiration to present case studies of topics from their research such as: cartography and the history of science in China; Publishing and print production in China and Europe; Chinese travel narratives; and, European pavilions at the "Garden of Perfect Clarity." Open to the public, but advanced reservations are required for each day of the symposium and for the keynote lecture by renowned sinologist Nicolas Standaert on December 13.
