Capturing Emotions
About This Online Tool
This presentation uses an open-source tool developed at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) called SIMILE (Semantic Interoperability of Metadata and Information in unLike Environments). It was originally developed by the MIT Libraries and MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL).

The SIMILE tool has been used to create a number of computer applications that help libraries and museums create online presentations about their collections using information spread across various databases. This presentation of the Captured Emotions exhibition uses SIMILE's Exhibit project.
