Object Description

Bronze intaglio with the image of a portrait bust of Berenike II of Egypt (ruled 246-222/221 B.C.), wife of Ptolemy III (ruled 246-222 B.C.). She wears a veil and a necklace; some drapery is visible on her shoulders.
