Object Description
According to Saint John's text, when the second angel sounds its trumpet, "a great mountain, burning with fire, was cast into the sea, and a third part of the sea became blood." (Apocalypse 8:8) On the left, an angel with multi-colored wings blows the trumpet while ships filled with people and animals capsize amidst tongues of fire on the right.
