Gelatin silver photograph of an African woman. She sits with her body in profile but her face towards the camera. She wears traditional clothing and jewelry, and has several facial tattoos. The photograph is mounted to a piece of glass that has been painted with a yellow border, and red, blue, and green leaf-shaped elements. The glass has a brown paper tape border, is backed with cardboard, and has cotton twine for hanging on the back.
