View of the Mecca Gate, also known as the Makai Gate. The gateway is between the two towers of a barbican, with each of the tower topped with a viewing gallery that is in turn crowned with a dome. A bridge spans across a dry river from the gate into the foreground. A person can be seen standing on the riverbed, while two more people are on the bridge.
