Albert Jansz. Vinckenbrinck

Datesabout 1604 - 1664/1665

Very little is known about the life of Albert Janszoon Vickenbrinck. He was probably apprenticed to his father, a cabinetmaker. Aside from a richly decorated oak pulpit in the Nieuwe Kirk in Amsterdam, most of his surviving works are small, detailed, and intricately cut reliefs carved from boxwood. His works are usually signed with his monogram AVB or ALVB.
